As a hard of hearing business owner or manager, I’ve often considered how our hard of hearing clients viewpoint our company. In the end, we work with them each day. Is us with them based on age-old stereotypes and misunderstandings? Or do we actually desire to build a solid relationship that could see us grow jointly?

They can achieve this by making fully accessible content ideal deaf people or by simply dedicating themselves to an inclusivity initiative that includes ASL or universal style. This will show the public that our business will not see this as a problem and that our company is willing to make changes to ensure that our clients feel meet at our establishment.
We should start the trend of welcoming our hard of hearing customers with open arms, including rendering signage that has ASL or Universal Style to make it easier for anyone to understand. Additionally , we should take the initiative to produce programs in the community just like conventions and seminars that promote the application of ASL or sign language communication. Building a long-term relationship with the hard of hearing community will require some hard work but will result in the end when ever our deaf people look like we really care about these people and their requirements.
